Top Note Box

This was such an easy box to make. Club girls, look at another sneak peek of a project you will be doing sometime this year. The DSP is now retired but you can do it with any color or paper combination.

"The lid is 5x6 inches, and the bottom is 4 7/8 and 5 7/8 inches. Score one inch all sides. " This project and dimensions came from starzlmom28. She had it posted on Splitcoast stampers.

Twin Girls Congratulations

My sister and her family found out they were having twin girls in November! This will make 3 girls for them. My Brother-in-law is outnumbered. I am so excited for them! I had to run out and get matching outfits and make a card to send to them. I am loving the All in the Family stamp set. You will be seeing many more ideas using this set. The possibilities are endless when you pull it out to use. I used the Button Latte buttons and added a Rose Red brad to the center of the flower. I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig for the sentiment.

Chocolate Christmas

I know it is not even July yet but you can NEVER begin your holiday cards too early. This is a very simple card that I will be using for a Mom's Night Out Christmas in July get together. I will be using one of the new in colors however, so you will have to check back to see how different the colors make the card. Adding a little Designer Series Paper goes a long way to add something special to your project.

Inspiration Challenge #49

Here is what inspired my card. I hope you enjoy looking. I used the pop up glue dots for the first time on this card and really love the 3-D look it gives. I love the new Circle Circus stamp set that will be available on July 1st in the new catalog! It works great with all Stampin' Up's! punches. The background was done with the color spritzer tool and markers. It is a great tool to give an airbrushed effect.

Mojo Monday on Wednesday #92

I saw this Mojo Monday sketch and could not wait to try it. However, you can see I took some liberties with the sketch. I used a few tools I have not used in a while like the color coach to pick my colors. I also used some rub-ons. I also took out one of my oldies but newbies, my stamp-a-ma-jig to line up these trees.

Color Throwdown #47

It has been a while since I have participated in the color throwdown of the week. I loved these colors and came up with the butterfly card. I used Cameo Coral textured cardstock behind the butterflies and used Old Olive because I did not have Kiwi Kiss. For the butterflies, I did two step stamping with the same color for the base and floral design. For the bottom layer just stamp off and then onto your paper. Who said you needed 2 different colors? I say you have 3 colors in each stamp pad.

Greatest "POP" Father's Day Card

My dad is known as "POP" to my kids. He loves his Coca-Cola and we found the shirt and could not pass it up for Father's Day since my sister already did the Dr. Seuss, Hop on Pop book last year. The shirt inspired me to make the "Greatest Pop" card for him. We are also going to give him bottles of Coke. Do you see a theme happening here? I free handed the coke bottle and cut out the cap and heat embossed in black. I used a retired alphabet (Brushstroke Alphabet) to do "greatest". I used the Jumble Alphabet (will be available July 1st) for the "P's". I used Trendy Trees for the dots in the build a brad and used Real Red and Summer Sun markers to add color. I was really excited with how it turned out. You never know what will inspire you!
