Let's Celebrate: Mojo Monday Sketch

I loved this Mojo Monday sketch and decided to make my mother-in-law a birthday card with it. I decided to make it a "regular" sized card (5 1/2" x 4 1/4") instead of square. I used markers on the stamp and then misted it with water. Next time I will use Watercolor paper to help it blend better. This time I stamped it on Confetti White paper.

Punched Hot Air Balloon

I love to use the new Sweet Centers stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog. I wanted to use this set without having to use the sweet treat cups. I saw a card made by lbrown on Splitcoaststampers.com and loved it. I used the hot air balloon idea and changed most everything else. I love how it turned out. It can be used for men, women, boys and girls. Add a sentiment and use it for a multitude of other projects. This was one of our club projects earlier on this month.

Hangin' Out At Regional

Picture with Shelli (Co-founder and CEO of Stampin' Up!)

The four of us enjoying the day!

I promise these are the last of my regional pictures. Shelli is so gracious and takes pictures and talks to demonstrators at every event. She is a wonderful and emotional speaker and it makes me proud to be a part of such a caring company. The four of us girls had a great time and came back very motivated, inspired and broke (just kidding).

Cocoa Envelope

This was a swap I saw on Dawn's blog and I loved the idea. She has a great tutorial that walks you through each step. I added a little bling to mine, but what a great idea! It was super simple to make. You could always add a little card attached to the cocoa. This would be a great gift with a mug for a cold winter day. An Apple for the Teacher

I have loved all the ideas I have seen for punch art. I am so glad there are creative people out there that I can CASE (Copy and Share Everything). However, I did this apple on my own and I am so excited about it! This is using the round tab punch. I punched once on Very Vanilla and once on Real Red. I cut the tops off Real Red and attached it to the Vanilla. The seeds and leaf are from the Heart to Heart punch. For this apple I used the small heart from this punch. The seeds are the heart cut in half and the leaf is the bottom of the heart facing out. I added some texture with the texturz plates for the Big Shot.

Ice Cream Inspiration Challenge #61

I took this inspiration literally. I copied colors as well as the ice cream cone. I textured the cone with the Big Shot and the texture plates. I used the 1 3/4" circle punch to punch out my ice cream scoops and then cut a straight edge and used the Scallop Edge punch on the bottom of each. I sponged the clouds with Bashful Blue ink and I used the Wide Oval punch twice to do the layering on the tag. I added a Rose Red button from Fresh Favorites II to add a little color to the top of my cone.
