Chocolate for your Valentine

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
Well, we all love chocolate so what better gift to give a teacher for Valentine's Day?  I bought the really large chocolate bars and covered them with DSP.  I wrapped them with some Whisper White taffeta ribbon and decorated a clothespin to decorate it a little bit more.  I LOVE the glitter paper!  What a sparkle without mess.

A Hoot of a Treat

I got this fantastic idea on Becky Robert's blog.  I used DSP to cover a kit kat bar.  I stacked 2 on top of each other and tied with Very Vanilla grosgrain ribbon.  I used the same DSP to fix up a clothes pin.  Then I used my Owl punch to add the cute factor.  I gave these as gifts.  Everyone loves chocolate, right?

UDI Inspiration Challenge #134

This is a project we will be making at our next group meeting later this month.  I love this UDI inspiration challenge.  I love the colors and makes me feel royalty.  Okay, I know that sounds crazy but that is why I used the Queen for a Day and the crown.  I made this using the Matchbox die for the Big Shot.  I then cut paper to cover it and HAD to add chocolate!  That just makes ALL the difference right?  Be sure to check out what the other UDI team members came up with.

Group Make and Take: Project #2

Here was another meeting make and take.  We used the Take a Spin set from the Occasions Mini catalog.  I love the colors and usage of the Play Date DSP.

Group Make and Take: Project #1

Before we have our next group meeting I wanted to make sure I shared with you our make and takes.  This is a simple but beautiful card.  To make the flower, you cut your First Edition paper into flowers using your Big Shot.  Next you spray each piece with some water and crumble them up.  Let them dry and open them back up.  Layer the way you like and then use your paper piercer and add a brad.  Here we used our Build a Brads.  Enjoy.

UDI Inspiration Challenge #133

For the UDI challenge this week I used the Play date 12x12 designer series paper to make this layout.  This is a layout that will be in one of my upcoming scrapbooking classes.  I love how it turned out that that it is gender neutral. Now I just need to get some pictures put in it.  Be sure to check what the other talented UDI team members came up with this week.
