Card Cuttting Basics

How do I know what size to cut my card stock to make a card?  I get this question a lot when I meet a new stamper so I decided to do a very basic video in my Stamping Basics 101 video series.  I focus on a very simple way to cut your card stock to make a 2 layer card.  I hope this helps and is easy to follow.

Keep It Simple

A simple note card with no bells or whistles.   This is using one stamp and one color, Pool Party.  I also used the ready made note cards with envelopes.  You can easily make this for any occasion by adding it to the inside of the card.  I love how it turned out and I plan to make a lot more for gifts or just to have on hand for whatever I may need in a hurry.

A Special Card

Fabulous Invitation

Look at this fabulous invitation I received from my upline for an event I earned.  She and I designed this AWESOME invite and it was still so exciting to get this in the mail!  This used the Kraft boxes and we decorated the inside of it and added an insert with gumballs in the center.  She added a button and the special delivery stamp and the invite which was added on the inside of the lid.  Isn't it amazing?  I love this unconventional way to mail something.

Fun Thank You

I saw the directions for this card on Becky Robert's blog and I knew I needed to try it.  I realized I had not posted this yet for you so the elephant stamp is not available anymore.  I love the idea of a different fold.  It is fun to try something new.
