Autumn Harvest: UDI Inspiration Challange #71

Baroque Mojo Monday

I love this Mojo Monday sketch. I love the simplicity of it. I decided to try something new for me, actually stamping onto Designer Series Paper. I like how it turned out. I used Rich Razzleberry for the majority of the card and then added in some Basic Black. For my elegant image, I stamped it in Rich Razzleberry and then sprayed it with some champagne shimmer paint mixed with rubbing alcohol. It makes it shimmer as well as blurred the ink a bit giving it a marbleized look. I added a filigree designer brad with a black brad in the middle to tie in with the basic black 5/8" grosgrain ribbon.

Stencil Color Throwdown

I saw the colors for the color throwdown this week and knew I had to make a card. I cut out a triangle for my tree and laid my stencil on top of it and used Old Olive for the tree. I paper pierced around the tree to give it more definition. I crinkled up my paper and sponged with Chocolate Chip to age it a bit and added some ribbon and a tag. I love how it turned out. I will try to get supplies listed later today.

UDI Inspiration Challenge #70

This is what I came up with for the UDI inspiration challenge this week. I tried something new and love how it turned out, it is just hard for you to see in the picture. The Barely Banana card stock was put through the Big Shot and a texturz plate. Before I ran it through, I cut a piece of cardboard into a circle and laid it on the texturz plate first then layered my card stock on top. It came out great! I had a blank circle on my card stock with the rest textured. I used my cardboard that I had cut the circle from and laid it on top of the circle on my card stock and sponged around the edge. I added my punched flowers with soft subtle brads and my vanilla ribbon to finish it off. Be sure to check out what the other team members came up with.

Big Shot Autumn Wreath

One of my friends and downline, Kristin, has been wanting to make this wreath that is pictured in the Stampin' Up! catalog. She finished it and just in time to hang up for fall! It turned out great! She used a wire frame and Autumn Traditions DSP. She used the Big Shot machine and cut the leaves out with the Leaves #2 Die. She attached it to the wire frame using sticky tape. I love it! Divided Gift Box

I saw this idea on the Inking Idaho blog and knew I had to try it! It was a very easy project and not very time consuming. What a great gift idea for a teacher! I know when I taught I always needed thank you notes. This holds 3 Hershey nuggets and 6 3x3 cards with envelopes (3 on each side). Thank you so much for sharing your creativity Becky!

UDI Autumn Inspriation

Here is my take on the UDI inspiration challenge this week. I love any that involve the fall season. It is my favorite. Make sure to check out what the other team members did this week. I used the Cracked glass technique to add some shiny/reflection look to my card. I used watercolor paper and stamped and water colored my image. Then I stamped Versamark over the top of my whole sheet. I added glassy glaze enamel and heat set it. While the enamel was still hot I added more and heat set it. Do this 3 or 4 times. Let it dry and then bend the paper to "crack the glass".
