Greenhouse Gala meets Crumb Cake

I realized that I had not posted this yet.  This was the card we made at my new catalog open house this year.  We used Greenhouse Gala DSP with Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake.  This was so simple but makes a big impact.

Book of Techniques

This is the technique book that my club girls made for this year. It is a 4x6 photo album.   Each month they will get a technique card that will slide inside and we will remind them what to do when they want to try it at home.  Then we will make a project using that specific technique as our club project.  If you live in or around Cookeville, TN we would love to have you join a club!  Please contact me if you would like more information.

UDI Inspiration Challenge #110

Well, we recently got back from a family beach trip and this would have been great inspiration to put into scrapbook pages but I went to print pictures and realized I am out of photo paper, really?  I did not want to post a my digital studio page so this is what I came up with for this week's UDI inspiration challenge.  I went with the blues and sandy colors to come up with this card.  I even continued and was inspired to do a simply adorned charm insert.  You just never know.  Be sure to check out what the other UDI team members came up with.

Downline Meeting Projects

These are the projects that my upline had us do at our downline meeting this past weekend.  We had so much fun!  I LOVE these projects.  The last picture is a cello bag filled with Stampin' Up! taffy.  This was a little goody waiting at our seats when we got there.

Convention and My Digital Studio

This is my first attempt at putting a My Digital Studio project in video.  I made this 8x8 album about the Stampin' Up! convention in My Digital Studio.  I am so pleased with how it turned out.  I got it printed and the quality is fantastic!  I will definitely be doing this again.  I hope you enjoy looking at it.  Please let me know what you think.

Some Catalog Items Still Unavailable

The following catalog items are still unavailable for purchase right now.  I will let you know when that changes.  Stampin' Up! is very concerned about offering great quality and they want to make sure these products are made up to their standard.
  • Watercolor Wonder Crayons: All Watercolor Wonder Crayons were delayed due to a relocation of the supplier. We are happy to announce that these are now under production, and we will let you know when they are available for order.
  • Rub-Ons: We are still experiencing quality problems with our new Rub-Ons, and the following Rub-Ons are not currently available:
    119250 - Bday Party
    119249 - Holly & Jolly

PUNCH CADDIES NOT AVAILABLE

As you know, the Punch Caddy is listed in the new Idea Book & Catalog (pg. 200) as “Coming soon.” We are disappointed to report, however, that due to serious production and quality issues with the manufacturer, we will not be able to offer the Punch Caddies at all. And because the manufacturer will likely not be able to meet our quality standards for the Punch Caddy in the future, we do not have any plans to offer a revised or equivalent product in its place.

We, like you, are disappointed that we cannot offer the Punch Caddies for sale. But because of our ongoing commitment to providing you with the highest quality products, we simply cannot allow this product to go live.

UDI Inspiration Challenge #109

For the UDI inspiration challenge this week I was drawn to the yellows and browns and the sunflowers in the background.  I was finally able to use my Stampin' Up! stencil.  I stamped my swirls from Baroque Motifs in Chocolate Chip.  After that I used my stencil and sponge dauber in Daffodil Delight.  I ran it all through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder and then sponged over the embossed image lightly with Crumb Cake ink.  I tore edges and sponged some more.  I added the brown button in the center to give the card a focal image.  I used the neutral buttons for this.  Be sure to check out what the rest of the UDI team has come up with.

What a Surprise!

I have the best group of friends and customers a girl could ask for.  Last night one of my clubs met and they surprised me with a congratulations cake for my Rising Star achievement!  Apparently 3 of them planned the cake and Kristin was our hostess so that was the treat she brought to share!  Who could ask for a better treat?  Ami also made the beautiful card and everyone had signed it.  It was a special night and all of them were so incredibly thoughtful.  It really humbled me and just reminded me that the relationships I have formed are really what is so fantastic about my "job".  Thank you to Kristin, Ami, Joya, Leah, Nicole and Valerie for making club a special night.

Catalog and Swap CASEing

After convention I went home for two days and then headed to Pennsylvania for a wedding with my husband after dropping kids off at their grandparent's house.  The wedding's colors were yellow and orange and  I loved this card and copied it out of the catalog.  I added the dazzling diamond glitter to the card and I got that idea from a beautiful swap I received at convention.

MIA

I have been MIA because since convention I have only been home for 2 days.  Right now I am enjoying some
R &R at the beach.  I will be back and post regularly when I get back next week.  Thank you for continuing to check back.  I have lots more to share from convention from swaps to Holiday Mini sneak peeks.  If I have a few minutes I may even post something else while we are here.

UDI Inspiration Challenge # 107

I have just recently gotten the Cheers for you stamp set.  I thought I would make some fancy lemonade this week for the UDI inspiration challenge.  I used Blushing Bride, Cherry Cobbler and Pear Pizzazz.  I also got inspired by an old stamping 411 sketch challenge.  Be sure to check out what the other talented UDI team members came up with this week.

R2D2 is Feeling Punchy

It is my nephew's 5th birthday was Sunday and he is all into Star Wars.  I decided to use our punches to make an R2D2.  I was excited with how it turned out.  I added some "stars" using our new rhinestone jewels and then topped it off with a birthday sentiment.

UDI Birthday Wishes

I celebrated my birthday at convention last Friday and when I got back home this past Sunday, this was waiting for me.  Isn't it beautiful?  This was sent by UDI group for birthday wishes.  It was made by Sue E.  Thank you so much.  It is so nice to open an envelope and pull out a hand stamped card.
