Halloween Decor

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
I made this coffee filter wreath to go on my faux mantle all year round.  For the month of October I added this Halloween lolly decoration to it.  I just tied it around the wreath loosely with some twine.  I hope to change the wreath with the seasons.  We will see if I keep up with that!

DSP Christmas

Here is a very simple card using Designer Series Paper.  Add a little sponging around the edges and some ribbon and you have a beautiful card!

The Matching Set

I did a wedding party a little while back.  We made this card and I demonstrated the Fancy Favor box.   We used the brides colors and made it a little vintage.  She is having a "lock and key" vintage style wedding.  She loved these projects.

BOO!

Here is another FABULOUS project we made at our group meeting a while back.  This is so neat.  I am sure you can find a tutorial online somewhere.  You pull up the chocolate bar and the word sheet slides out the bottom.  You can do this for any season.  I will have to try it on my own.

Halloween House

I love the houses that were made at convention 2 years ago.  I have many cut already in preparation for possible classes.  I decided to make a Halloween House to go along with my Fall/Halloween decor.  I really love how it turned out.  Here it is on my new faux mantle.

Reindeer Christmas

More Christmas for you!  I love this little reindeer from Joyous Celebrations.  I used the DSP from the Festive Paper Pack and my embossing folder on a smaller square.  I am really thrilled with how this turned out.  This may be my starting off point for my family Christmas cards this year.

Hello Kitty

On Saturday we celebrated my twin niece's birthdays.  They are turned 3 yesterday and family was all in town for the 1/2 marathon so we celebrated together.  They both got Hello Kitty sheets from us (my sister asked for this) so instead of cards I made these really cute Hello Kitty tags using punches.  How fun!

Halloween Gift Box

Yesterday my sister and her family and my parents came into town.  Today is the big day!  My sister and I are running a half marathon this morning.  Since Halloween is almost here, I made these boxes with note cards as a pillow gift waiting for each of our guests.  I hope they love them as much as I do.  The kraft boxes fit the 3x3 note cards perfectly.

Fabric on a Card

This is my first attempt at sewing on a card.  I used some of our $.99 fabric from the Clearance Rack to add some dimension to this card.  I also added some Dazzling Diamonds to the center of the ornament.  Don't worry about fabric.  I am becoming braver since I have a bunch that was so inexpensive.  If something I try doesn't work I am not out a lot of money.  I will keep trying.  Sewing on some scrapbook pages is next on my list.

Hilton Head Swap

I shared all the swaps that I got at Hilton Head but I forgot to share the card I made.  This is the card I swapped.

YUM tag and bag

This is a great tag we made at our last large group meeting.  I love how all the layers work together.  This was perfect because I stuffed this bag with chicken noodle soup, pistachios,  a sleeve of saltine crackers, a get well soon card from each of the kids and some decaffeinated tea bags.  All for my mother in law who just had knee surgery.  Those are some of her favorite things.

Fall Fun

I was having fun just stamping just to stamp.  I love the boot stamp set that you see above.  I dressed it up a little with some DSP and added some layers.  The Soft Suede layer behind the boot is actually a piece I took from an outdated DSP sample ring I had.

Happiness and Chocolate

I made this as a swap card for our group meeting.  I used the stamp "a little word willed with a lot of happiness".  Since I was using a hot chocolate mug stamp I needed chocolate.  I got on MDS (My Digital Studio) and used my jewelry tag punch with the text chocolate so I would get exactly the right size.  Then I deleted my punch and copied and pasted.  I printed the words and punched them out with my jewelry punch.  It was the perfect fit and so easy.

My Digital Studio Fun (MDS)

My original card

I am loving the My Digital Studio program more and more.  I made a card kind of like this one in my studio with stamps.  I really wanted to duplicate it but it was a whole lot of time and effort.  I had a light bulb moment and figured why not duplicate it on MDS?  I love the new frame download and with this program I added stitching and more a more personalized sentiment using our name!  I can't wait for these to come back from the printer's to keep have on hand when I need them.

Using MDS2

I made these invitations on My Digital Studio, our digital program.  I made this a hybrid project.  I stamped my images in Perfect Plum and then added our googly eyes.  The actual invite with all the information is on the back.  So Fun!

Homemade Bags

I was not able to go to the Chattanooga Regionals this year at the last minute because of a family emergency but luckily I had these made and ready to go for all the girls going!  Believe it or not these bags were made out of the packing paper that comes in our stamp orders.  I actually used my sewing machine to sew the bags together and then decorated them.  Add some candy corn to the inside and staple the top.  I was so excited to see how well they turned out.  My sewing machine is still out so I need to see what else I can come up with:)
