FAMILY

I have had some pages partially done and I finally got to finish them!  I had inspiration from my NEW Serif Essentials Alphabet dies for the Big shot.  I am going to get so much use out of these!  It was well worth the investment.  The rest of the pages were made using the Tailor Made Simply Scrappin' Kit which is retiring.  Be sure to order it now!  You only have until June 30th to take advantage of the retiring products.  Many are even discounted.  Don't miss out!  Click HERE to shop my online store.

UDI Inspiration Challenge #101

Here is my creation for this week's UDI inspiration challenge.  This was a really hard one for me.  I don't have any of the monkey stamps so I was looking at my new Greenhouse Gala DSP (available July 1st!) and thought of jungle.  Well, monkeys live in the jungle so I went with that.  I used my Punched Posies hostess level 2 stamp set and punched out the flowers.  We have a lot of anniversaries coming up so I added that as my sentiment.  Be sure to check out what the other UDI team members came up with this week.

Keep Stamping.

Supplies:
Stamps: Punched Posies (hostess level 2 set), Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip

Sweet and Simple

As the title says, sweet and simple.  For this card I used mostly retiring products.  I used the Fancy Flower punch (still available)  in Real Red and stamped Pretty Petals over top and sponged the edges.  I used the large oval punch for the leaves in Gable Green.  I used Only Orange for the background and embossed it with the Square Lattice embossing folder (in Mini Catalog).  To add a little extra I used a Summer Sun Corduroy button for the center of the flower.  Real Red 1/4" grosgrain ribbon finished it off around the top of the card.

Father's Day Gift Card Holder

Father's Day is tomorrow and this is the card I came up with.  This was also a club project in June.  I have seen these cards but I wanted to make one that would fit in a standard invitation size envelope.  I used the measuring tape from Totally Tool to make the "d" and the "a" is from Jumble Alphabet.  I used the retiring Close to Cocoa and Ruby Red card stocks.

MEASUREMENTS: Take a 5 1/2" x 12" sheet of card stock.  Fold it in half at 6".  Then score in from each side 4 1/4".  Make a "W" with it and add sticky strip along the back bottom holding it together.  Use the Word Window punch to punch out a space on the inside that is large enough to hold a gift card.

HAVE A WONDERFUL FATHER'S DAY TOMORROW!

Birthday Box

This is a class I am holding tonight.  I saw this great idea made by Sarah Anthony.  She was very kind and shared her very detailed tutorial with me.  I love it when such creative people share so freely. I chose to use Island Oasis DSP and the coordinating colors.   I have some customers that can't wait to make this tonight.  For our class, we are also making 4 birthday cards, also from Sarah Anthony,  to fit inside the box.  This would make a great gift or a great storage box for those birthday cards.  I will be showcasing the cards the rest of the week.

Come take a look on Monday!

I know I have not been keeping up with my blog like I planned, and for that I apologize.  Life the past two months has been much busier than expected and I have been using the time normally used to set up my blog on other business endeavors.  I am going to work on getting back on track because my life is beginning to slow down again.  I have many pictures that have been taken and lots to share with you.  I just need to get it all set up to post.  Check back on Monday because I WILL be posting normally next week! Thank you for continuing to support my blog.

UDI Inspiration Challenge #99: Ice Cream Anyone?

This Thursday snuck up on me.  We had some crazy weather yesterday afternoon and we may have experienced a mini tornado in our backyard.  Shutters were pulled off our house, a cedar tree split in our backyard and a large tree was completely uprooted.  There seems to be a path of uprooted trees through our neighborhood.

Anyway, back to the UDI inspiration challenge.  I tried to do a more modern take on ice cream with this challenge.

Fundraiser Event

In May I did a Fundraiser event in town.  My upline, Rene, helped me that day and I could not have done it without her.  This is how I set up the booth.  We had young girls make bottle cap necklaces.  It was crazy but so much fun!  I hope the girls enjoyed it as much as I did.
