Christmas Purse

I saw this idea on Becky Robert's blog and I loved it. I had to go and make one of my own. What a great way to wrap a gift and it is so easy to make. You can change up the colors and the DSP to use it for any occasion. This purse is using a white lunch sack that is covered with card stock and Designer Series Paper. I had to add my own little bling to it on the clasp. The clasp is held together with Velcro. To make the clasp, I used a clear button and punched out a piece of DSP with the 3/4" circle punch. I used my Paper Piercing Tool and mat pack to poke holes through the button and then added a square fire rhinestone brad to it. I used mini glue dots to attach it to the piece of Chocolate Chip card stock that I punched out with the Designer Label Punch.

I made this little basket as an autumn treat for the UDI inspiration challenge this week. Add a cello bag with candy corn or chocolate and you have made someones day. I used the Fancy Favor Die for the Big Shot and cut it down to size. I punched out 5 ovals using the Wide Oval Punch and sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip Classic Ink. I used the 5 Petal Flower Punch to make the leaves out of Old Olive card stock. Be sure to check out the UDI blog to see what the other inspiration team members came up with.

Build a Bear Fashionista

My daughter and I were having fun with the new Build A Bear products in the Holiday Mini Catalog. She picked out the Cottage Wall DSP paper and "designed" of this outfit on the bear. We both decided that she needed a little sparkle in her hair so we added a clear rhinestone brad. My daughter is 3 and we had the best time making this bear. Be sure to check back tomorrow to see how I ended up using this bear!

Stencil Journal

I love the Stampin' Up! Stencils. This project is using the 5x5 Art Journal. I used sponge daubers in Chocolate chip to cover the front and back of the journal. It looks like suede when you are finished. I laid down my stencil and used Stencil Paste. I let it dry and then took sponge daubers and added color with my Classic Ink Pads. To finish the project, I added the Chocolate Ribbon.

I also got to use my Circle Scissor Plus and love learning how to use it now that I have Dotto to keep my card stock in place. Just a little helpful tip. Remember to check the UDI blog to see what the other inspiration challenge members came up with this week.

Kind Thanks

This was originally made for a color throwdown challenge but I did not get it posted in time. The color challenge was Old Olive, Summer Sun, Chocolate Chip and Kraft. I have been seeing the reeds done with the Horizontal punch for sometime and this was the perfect time to try it. I masked the grass and sponged around it with Summer Sun ink.

Christmas Gift Idea

This is a quick and easy gift giving idea that anyone would enjoy. I covered a candle with Merry Moments DSP and added a cute tag. Then I took some DSP from the same pack and covered a gift bag and added ribbon for the handles to dress it up a bit. I added a tag on this as well and now you have a handmade gift and packaging for a teacher, friend, co-worker or family member.

Pirate Build A Bear

I saw this UDI inspiration challenge picture and thought pirate. I just got the Build A Bear dies and decided I needed a pirate bear. I packaged up 2 kit kat bars and wrapped DSP around them. To close it I used my crimper and crimped the edges. I added my bear in his pirate attire and my sentiment. Check out the other inspiration team members on the UDI blog and leave a comment and tell them what you think.

Birthday Cupcake

I love the Simple Birthday Thanks stamp set. I have my kids use it for birthday thank you cards but I wanted to use it more often because I love the big cupcake. For this card I just inked around the edges of the stamp in Basic Black and stamped it, omitting the words inside the bottom of the cupcake. I added some accessories and my favorite birthday sentiment.
