Two Beautiful Blooms
I saw a card similar to this and then changed most of it but kept the flower idea. I am going to miss the Echoes of Kindness Hostess stamp set, I love the saying but there are so many new wonderful stamp sets in the new catalog. I can't wait to share it with you after July 1st. Keep an eye out here though for some sneak peeks. I am finally getting my order delivered tomorrow with some sneak peek items that I will share with you before the first of July. I can't wait for you to see the new IN COLORS! You are going to love them.
Keep Stamping,

Color Throwdown #43
When I saw the colors this week I knew I had to do something floral. This is what I came up with the for the color throwdown challenge. I used markers to color in the flowers after stamping them in Basic Black. I used my neglected Stamp-a-ma-jig on my words to stack them on top of each other. I realize I need to use the Stamp-a-ma-jig more often because it is so easy and fun to use.Supplies:
Stamps: Echoes of Kindness (hostess set), Elegant Thank You (114484)
Ink: Basic Black (101179)
Markers: Lavender Lace (100041), Old Olive (100079), Elegant Eggplant (105110)
Paper: Lavender Lace (101614), Old Olive(100702), Elegant Eggplant (105126), Very Vanilla (101650)
Other: Big Shot Machine (113439), Stampin' Up! background 1 texture plates (114512), Eyelet Border Punch (113692), 1/16" Circle Punch (101227), Hodgepodge Hardware Styled Vanilla (112454), Stamping Sponges (101610), Stamp-a-ma-jig (101049)

Hostess Set
When you hostess a workshop in your home, you can earn free stamp sets depending on the sales. This card is made using a level 2 hostess set, Echoes of Kindness. I copied this card from one I saw on another site by Vivian. I loved the idea. I am using this for my Card Buffet as well. I think it is beautiful how you can use 2 colors of markers to get the shading on the flower.
Stamps: Echoes of Kindness
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Basic Black, Whisper White
Other: Pretty in Pink Marker, Regal Rose Marker, stamping sponges, dimensionals
