The BIG puppy!
Lance Jackson
Well, I thought I would share a little about our dogs since in a round about way it has to do with stamping. We have Lance, an 11 year old Border Collie mix (the perfect angel) and we adopted a 1 1/2 year old yellow lab, Jackson in October. Well, those of you that have dogs and puppies to be more specific know about the chewing. Well, I received an order, thank heavens it was mine, and got the Goal stamp set FREE for Sale-a-bration. Yes, I spend more during Sale-a-bration too! I put it far back on the counter and left to pick up the kids from their Mom's Day Out program and came back to this! Lesson learned. The box is not pretty and the blocks have been loved by Jackson's teeth but the stamps were not marked at all. So I now know that an 85 pound puppy can reach the full depth of the counter. Stamp orders need to head down to my studio right away.

Group Make and Take: Project #3
Now that we just had our February meeting yesterday I thought I would finish sharing our meeting projects from January. We made this beautiful card using Bliss which you can choose as your FREE gift when you place a $50 order (before shipping and tax). I loved stamping with our Whisper White Craft ink pad and can I just say I am in love with the Seam Binding! This is the Rose Red seam binding and it is not just for sewing. For this technique you pull a string from the center carefully and gather it. Attach it to your card with Sticky Strip and you are ready to go. I will be sharing our February meeting activities with you this coming week.

Bliss in Brights
Can I just say I LOVE Sale-a-bration! I love getting something free! This is one of my favorites. It is a stamp set called Bliss and you can get it FREE when you place a $50 order. I used my Brights 12x12 paper pack to make these very simple cards. Pick the color, pick the coordinating stamp pad and punch it out! EASY! I made a bunch so I would have them on hand when I need them.

Chocolate for your Valentine
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
Well, we all love chocolate so what better gift to give a teacher for Valentine's Day? I bought the really large chocolate bars and covered them with DSP. I wrapped them with some Whisper White taffeta ribbon and decorated a clothespin to decorate it a little bit more. I LOVE the glitter paper! What a sparkle without mess.

A Hoot of a Treat
I got this fantastic idea on Becky Robert's blog. I used DSP to cover a kit kat bar. I stacked 2 on top of each other and tied with Very Vanilla grosgrain ribbon. I used the same DSP to fix up a clothes pin. Then I used my Owl punch to add the cute factor. I gave these as gifts. Everyone loves chocolate, right?

Group Make and Take: Project #1
Before we have our next group meeting I wanted to make sure I shared with you our make and takes. This is a simple but beautiful card. To make the flower, you cut your First Edition paper into flowers using your Big Shot. Next you spray each piece with some water and crumble them up. Let them dry and open them back up. Layer the way you like and then use your paper piercer and add a brad. Here we used our Build a Brads. Enjoy.

UDI Inspiration Challenge #133
For the UDI challenge this week I used the Play date 12x12 designer series paper to make this layout. This is a layout that will be in one of my upcoming scrapbooking classes. I love how it turned out that that it is gender neutral. Now I just need to get some pictures put in it. Be sure to check what the other talented UDI team members came up with this week.
