Betsy's Blossoms Continues

Can I tell you how much I love the new In Colors!  I find myself using the Summer Starfruit and Midnight Muse a LOT!  This is a card that we made at a recent event I held.  I was inspired by a card I saw out in cyber world.

Decorative Gift Packaging

I had some cute little clear plastic containers that I knew I would use someday.  Well, the day came and I decorated them a little bit and this is how I packaged the washer necklaces to give to the ladies that attended my Hostess Appreciation Event.  The DSP on the top coordinated with the design on the necklaces.

IKEA Redo

I bought this clear napkin holder, really cheap, at IKEA.  I don't have a before picture but it was clear acrylic.  I got it over a year ago with the intention of dressing it up with DSP (Designer Series Paper).  I finally did when I held my Hostess Appreciation Event.  I love the paper and it goes well in my Stamp Studio!  I may need to get some more.  This would make a great gift idea!

Washer Necklaces

I made these washer necklaces for each of the ladies that came to my Hostess Appreciation Event.  They were fun and easy to make.  Punch your Designer Series Paper to the same size as your washer.  I think mine were 1" diameter.  Then punch out the center.  I put some Mod Podge on the washer and added the paper.  Then I put Mod Podge over top of the paper.  When it was dry I went back and added Crystal Effects and let it dry overnight.  I added the actual necklace and it was done.  I love it and because of how they are attached to the necklace you can change your washers out.

Pinwheel Father's Day

This is the Father's Day card I made for my dad this year!  I have been waiting to try this pinwheel technique and I really love how it turned out.  It was also really easy!

Create

This is another retired item from Stampin' Up! but I have been looking a it for a while and I had to have it when I knew I would not be able to get it again.  I put it up in my Stamp Studio on the door that heads outside.  It is one of the first things I see when I head down the stairs and it makes me smile.

Postage Father's Day

When I saw this Postage Due stamp set I knew I had to have it.  It can be more girlie but also an easy masculine look, which can  be hard for me:)  Who doesn't love the new Morning Post Alphabet?  LOVE it!  This is a Father's Day card we made for club this month.  There was also a birthday adaptation card if a Father's Day card was not needed that I will share later.  We used the new Stampin' Spritzer as well with this card.  I mixed rubbing alcohol and drops of the Cajun Craze reinker.  I really love how these spray and I can't wait to mix up some more colors!

Framelit Storage

I always LOVE to see how others organize their things.  I am like a kid in a candy store when it comes to organizing so I am sharing.  I used some of the retired magnet sheets and stuck them to the side of my die storage to organize my framelits.  I am going to have to find more space though because I have seen the Holiday Mini catalog and more framelits will be joining my collection.  I did not like having to dig through and find my framelits.  I like that now they are right in front of me and easy to use.

The New Catalog is HERE!

I know I am a few days late posting this but I have had a very exciting and busy weekend watching and being a part of my brother getting married to his beautiful bride whom I am happy to call my sister!  All four of us were in the wedding.  It was a BIG family affair and we were kept going, going, going.  We are home now and ready to try to catch up on our sleep.  We just hope the kids will do it too:)

The new catalog is HERE!  I have already put in my first order and I can't wait to get my new toys to play with.  I think my UPS man is always afraid I am stalking him.  When I see him pull up I am out to meet him before he even gets off the truck.
