Elegant Simplicity

For this card I wanted to play with my new Rich Regal Watercolor Crayons. I love the way they blend with the Aqua Painters. I used Fifth Avenue Floral as the stamp set. Again, I used the Stampin' Up! Background Texture Plates on the large Whisper White piece. Unfortunately it did not come out well in the picture but it adds that last little bit of elegance to the background. I did not have black brads left, so I made my own. I started with silver brads and dipped the heads into the Versamark stamp pad. Then they were dipped into black embossing powder and heated. It turned out GREAT! At the last minute I added the sentiment in Basic Black over top of the stamped image. I like the look of it this way. It is unexpected.
Keep Stamping,
Katy
