UDI Inspiration Challenge #112

I loved this picture and decided to literally use crayons for my UDI inspiration challenge this week.  This is going to be a birthday card for a little boy turning 3.  You can't see it in the picture, but I also took my perforating tool from the cutter kit to go along the fold of the card.  That way when he is ready to color the picture you can easily tear off the crayon pouch and only have the picture card.  Be sure to check out what the other UDI team members came up with this week!

TIP: To make this card, cut your sheet of 8 1/2"x11" card stock at 4 1/4" long ways.  Fold in half like you would a regular card and then fold the front flap back to the fold.  This makes the pouch.  "Puff" up the pouch and use Sticky Strip to adhere.  I then just kind of folded/tucked up the bottom so the crayons won't fall out.

Keep Stamping,

  2. A really cute idea Katy! I like the idea of leaving the bears for kids to color since that always looked like a lot of work for me to do. Very cute!
